Position Summary:
The Golf Locker Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptional member
experience within the club’s locker room facilities. This position ensures the locker room
remains clean, organized, fully stocked, and professionally maintained while delivering
outstanding customer service to members and guests. The ideal candidate demonstrates
professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality excellence
expected within a luxury private club environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Services
• Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide personalized service while maintaining member privacy and confidentiality
• Assist members with locker access, shoe care, garment handling, and personal item storage
• Maintain a welcoming and upscale atmosphere throughout the locker room facilities
• Respond promptly and professionally to member requests and concerns
Locker Room Operations:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, restrooms, showers, lounges, and vanity
areas
• Ensure towels, toiletries, grooming supplies, and amenities remain fully stocked at all times
• Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or repair needs immediately
• Organize lockers and maintain accurate locker assignments as directed by management
• Collect and process laundry, towels, and shoe care services in accordance with club procedures
Appearance and Facility Standards
• Uphold luxury hospitality standards and maintain immaculate presentation of all assigned areas
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness throughout the day
• Ensure furniture, fixtures, and amenities are arranged and maintained to club standards
• Assist with preparation for tournaments, member events, and special functions as needed
Team Support:
• Work collaboratively with golf operations, housekeeping, food and beverage, and clubhouse
staff
• Support daily club operations to ensure an elevated member experience
• Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and service standards
Qualifications:
• Previous hospitality, country club, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with members and guests
• Dependable, punctual, and service oriented mindset
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry supplies, towels, or equipment up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and perform routine cleaning duties
Schedule Requirements:
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and tournament events as needed

South Carolina Employment Requirements:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements in accordance with
South Carolina law and club policy
• Ability to comply with all South Carolina health, safety, and workplace regulations
• Must maintain professional conduct and adhere to confidentiality expectations associated with
Private Club Operations:
• Reliable transportation required to support scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and
tournament events
• Compliance with all company policies regarding workplace safety, harassment prevention, and
member privacy standards
• Ability to obtain any required certifications or training mandated by club operations or South
Carolina regulations
Salary and Perks:
The Locker Room Attendant position offers a starting wage of $15.00 per hour with an average
schedule of approximately 25 to 35 hours per week. Work schedules will include weekends,
holidays, PGA tournament events, and other special club functions based on operational needs.
In addition to hourly compensation, this position provides substantial earning potential through
gratuities. High-profile club activities, member events, PGA tournaments, holiday operations,
and special events routinely create opportunities for attendants to earn a significant amount of
tips in addition to regular hourly pay.
Additional golfing privileges and club related perks may be available and will be determined by
the Club Professional during the interview process based on club policies, operational
requirements, and employee eligibility.
